Driving Directions

Take the NY State Thruway (I-87) north to the Adirondack Northway (Exit 24 in Albany). Follow 87 to Exit 30. Pick up Rt. 9 north and follow it for two miles to Rt. 73. Continue on 73 for 28 miles to the Lake Placid area. Turn left on Route 86. Follow Rt 86 into Saranac Lake. For Camp Lakotah, follow Rt 86 (River Street) left to the state boat launch ahead on your left. For Moody Pond rentals, turn right at NBT Bank on River Street and make a left onto Pine Street. Continue for approximately 3/4 mile to the stop sign. Go straight, and make the next right onto Forest Hills. Go over the bridge and make a right onto Forest Hills. The property is located on the left directly before Moody Pond. From NYC: 5 hrs.; Albany: 2 1/2 hrs.

Take 401 east to Cornwall Bridge. Pick up Route 37 east to Malone. Follow Route 30 south to Paul Smiths and pick up Route 86. Continue on 86 to Saranac Lake. Make a left in Saranac Lake onto Rt 3 at the traffic light. Make a right onto Pine Street—cross railroad tracks. Make a left onto Forest Hills. Go over the bridge and make a right onto Forest Hills. The property is located on the left directly before Moody Pond.

Drive Time: 5 1/2 hours.

Take 401 east to Cornwall Bridge. Pick up Route 37 east to Malone. Follow Route 30 south to Paul Smiths and pick up Route 86. Continue on 86 into Saranac Lake. Follow Route 86—River Street (towards Lake Placid). The state boat launch is on the right at Lake Flower.

Drive Time: 5 1/2 hours.

Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) to Albany. Pick up I-787 north to Cohoes. Connect with Route 7 west to I-87 north. Follow I-87 (Northway) to Exit 30, pick up Rt. 9 north, and follow it for two miles to Rt. 73. Continue on 73 for 28 miles to the Lake Placid area. Follow Rt 86 into Saranac Lake. Continue straight at NBT Bank (do not go towards Lake Placid). Make a left onto Pine St. Continue for approx. 3/4 mile to the stop sign. Go straight, and make the next right onto Forest Hills. Go over the bridge and make a right onto Forest Hills. The property is located on the left directly before Moody Pond. Drive Time From Buffalo: 5 1/2 hours; Rochester: 4 1/2 hours; Syracuse: 3 1/2 hours.
